A successful Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Jagadeesh’s philanthropic interests have benefited several charitable organizations in the USA and India. Passionate about helping educate the poor masses in India, Jagadeesh mentors and enriches OSAAT with his leadership and vision.
Govinda was instrumental in taking care of all the legal matters and establishing OSAAT as a registered non-profit. Committed to ensuring OSAAT’s smooth operation, he continues to refine this young organization’s growth.

Monika Venkateshmurthy

A hardware design engineer by profession, Monika helps with several charitable organizations in the Bay area. Monika’s incredible energy and talent jumpstarted the RFP process, a key aspect of OSAAT’s school nomination and selection activity.
Jayashree is an Accountant by profession. Helps with several charitable organizations around the bay area. Lives in San Jose with her husband Atul, daughter Avani and son Purav.

Ashok Handigol

Ashok is a software professional with passion for Music, Theatre, Literature and cultural activities. Devotes time and energy helping and actively participating in not-for-profit activities in the community. As an actor he has many diversified and successful stage plays to his credit.
Malini is a software professional with a passion for music and other forms of art. She helps with charitable events around the bay area and enjoys the great outdoors with her family. Malini is committed to OSAAT and its objectives.

Naren is a software professional and works for Cisco. He hails from Bangalore and is active in non-profit organizations in the bay area. He likes to utilize his skills at marketing and fund raising activities for OSAAT. He lives in San Jose with his wife Prathibha and son Samarth. Vadiraja Bhat

A multi-talented software engineer, musician, singer and actor, Vadi is the founder and OSAAT’s eyes and ears in India for projects before, during and after completion. Vadi orchestrated two house-full shows with the “Raaga” band he founded, to pull in funds towards the Bajegoli school project.

Ashok Kumar

Ashok Kumar S, one of the trustees of OSAAT, India, is a multi-talented artist in the field of music and theater. He has staged many successful fund raising shows in USA for multiple charity organisations including OSAAT, with RAAGA, a popular Kannada Band in Bay area, California and KATTE his theater troupe of ‘Nigooda’ & ‘Udbhava’ fame. By profession, he is an engineer from IITM, currently working as a Senior Director at Amadeus Software Labs, Bengaluru.
Sridhar Cherukupalli is an alumnus of National Institute of Engineering, Mysore having graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor Degree in Electronics & Communication. He worked for the Tatas and Wipro (in the IT areas) for over 30 years before switching over to Azim Premji Foundation, a not for profit organisation focussing on rural elementary education. He held various roles here as head of quality, head of HR and Admission Officer, Azim Premji University. He is passionate about the cause of rural poor and is a self confessed process person.

G.K. Bhat

G.K. Bhat is a retired bank executive, with a B.Sc. & LL.B graduation from Bangalore University. He has worked for a nationalized Indian bank for four decades under various capacities. His specialization area is international banking and trade finance. Presently settled in Bangalore after retirement. He is blessed with one son who is happily married and now working as Associate Professor in PESIT, South Campus, Bangalore.
Suma Prasad is the Managing Chairman for Sanmitra Trust a volunteer organization aimed at spreading awareness on prevention of Cerebral Palsy (a stroke happens to the brain at the time of birth) and believes that work is worship. Right from her childhood she is very much interested in Art and culture and has grown as a dynamic and enthusiastic entrepreneur and is always in hunger for innovative and creative ideas.

Ms. Suma Prasad is an Executive MBA with key responsibilities in Training and Development, key interest in Research, Technical writing, editing, and reviewing and event management. She has got overall experience of more than two decades in the Software testing industry which includes 7 years of overseas experience working in Sydney, Australia. She has received a numerous appreciations for her creativity, communication ability and user Support.

Currently greatly involved in volunteering activities with few of the NGOs, she is passionate about giving back to the society. As a responsible resident of India and staying in a cosmopolitan community, she is an active member of a volunteer team working towards bringing awareness on garbage segregation and implemented 3R cycle effectively at apartment level. Also part of Go Green team, she contributed her time and energy in building a beautiful Kitchen garden and promoting go organic by using the manure generated by bio waste collected from residents.

Gundurao retired in 2015 as a Manager (inspection & audit department) at Corporation Bank. His wife is a retired P&T employee. He is blessed with two sons (both engineers and married) & two grand daughters. After retirement he is rendering service for OSAAT India and also at Senior Citizen Forum, a unit of CBR NETWORK SOUTH ASIA.
Gururaj Nittur is a software engineer at heart and works as a Director of software development at Cisco Systems India Pvt Ltd. Gururaj was regular visitor to Raaga concerts during his residence in USA and appreciated efforts of OSAAT. He currently lives in India and volunteering with OSAAT since 2013.
Raveesh attributes his natural interest in improving the academic scenario of India to the fact that he has spent all but four years of his life with and around academicians (he’s a son of a Mathematics professor). During his undergraduate studies, he was a part of “community development project” which focused on enhancing the learning experiences of children from Government schools around PES University (his alma mater). During his stint as a software engineer at Cisco, he was a member of the core team from his Business Unit which developed and implemented a successful skill development program (Summer Program) for primary and higher primary children of a school nearby (adopted by his BU). While visiting rural areas (during his stint at an Area Sales Manager with Mahindra), he utilized his evenings to track a few of OSAAT’s project around those areas and liaise with the contractors and headmasters to speed up the project implementation.

His alternative passions include quizzing and dancing. He has been an ardent quizzer (and a quiz master) and has authored 2 books in tech quizzing. As an undergrad, he was a part of the dance troupe which went on a cultural exchange program to United States and performed in the East Coast. He has learnt Yakshagana and Salsa from professional trainers.

He’s currently a doctoral candidate at University of Maryland (College Park), USA and has an MBA from FMS, University of Delhi.

Rama Murthy joined Corporation Bank as a Probationary Officer in 1976, worked across the country in various positions. Retired as General Manager, the position which he held for close to 7 years. In July 2013, he joined Syndicate Bank’s corporate office as Internal Ombudsman. He is blessed with a son.

Satheesh Heddese

Satheesh is an IT professional, having held key management responsibilities in large MNCs. Satheesh has been associated with OSAAT since its inception and loves to carve out as much time as possible in helping charitable causes.
Balki (Balakrishna Rao), currently living in Bangalore, is a retired software professional. He holds ME degree from I.I.Sc. Bangalore and had worked in companies like Wipro, Verifone, Kyocera, MindTree during his career of three decades. His current interests include Stock market, Terrace gardening and Indian philosophy.
