Bai-Aregoppa VIllage, Hanagal Taluk, Haveri District is a very remote village with no public transport.

Most of the children come from very poor families.  The medium of instruction is Kannada.  There are about 6 teachers including the headmaster.  Bommanahalli is the nearest big-village.   The staff is quite committed and one of the teachers has received an award for achievements/contribution.  The students also participate in many sports and co-curricular activities and have won many awards from their participation.

Due to water logging and flooding, one of the rooms which was at low level has collapsed.  Two rooms within the school compound were demolished as they were damaged beyond repair.  As of now, they have 2 rooms in a older constructed block and 2 rooms in a more recently constructed block.  In addition, they have one more class room, an office room and a food preparation room.  Toilets are inworking condition but could use some renovation.

After ground breaking, construction stopped due to incessant rain.  Waiting for rains to subside to resume construction.
