Total Cost of Project: INR 1.6 lakhs


The school had basic requirements of painting and flooring for the classrooms. OSAAT was also requested to provide drinking water facility by drilling a borewell. Toilets were in a bad condition . The school playground needed  help with soil filling.


We are proud to start this journey. We are grateful and optimistic that people will want to continue this domino effect, so we can do more.


Excerpts From RFP & Site Visit

  • Uttar Pradesh is a state with the most number of educationally backward blocks as recognized by the Govt of India.
  • Kushinagar happens to be one of the most backward districts in India.
  • The Govt middle and high school in the village of Lehni is in a pitiable condition and as can be seen from the pictures below.
  • The project is to take care of the basic requirement of the schools like drinking water, painting, flooring of the classrooms.
  • This project is executed in partnership of our partners in UP – MRIDA.

Current Status

  • The project is completed. We undertook painting, repair work , tiling for the classrooms, boundary wall and toilet.
  • We also got a new borewell drilled and a new hand pump installed.
  • A new kitchen shed was also completed.
  • Tables and Whiteboards were provided.
