Project Details

School Location: Halehalli village, Gowribidanur taluk, Chikkaballapura district, Karnataka
No. of Students: 167
Grades: Classes 8 to 10 (Kannada medium)
Requirements:
  • The school has two RCC roofed building
  • One RCC building with 3 classrooms is in a totally dilapidated condition with leaking roof and broken floor.
  • The second RCC building is also not in a very condition - has office room, a classroom and a kitchen
  • A new toilet block is under construction
  • The school needs 3 large classrooms (for more than 50 students) and an office room, a computer room and a laboratory
  • They just received approval from the Government for 3 rooms
OSAAT Proposal: OSAAT proposes to construct 3 large classrooms (that can accommodate upto 56 students) and a kitchen block with store room. OSAAT also proposes to provide benches and desks in all 3 classrooms
Estimated Cost: INR 60.8 L (USD 81K)
Funding: This project is funded by a corporate donor in India.
Status: Construction started with the ground breaking ceremony on 01-Aug-2022 and completed with the handing over of new facilities on 27-Mar-2023.
