Rajiv has a deep-rooted conviction that investing in education is the best way to uplift economically-disadvantaged sections of society and is a champion of OSAAT’s vision of building schools in rural India. He is currently CEO at Nutanix, a silicon valley software and cloud company.

Paddu Melanahalli has been engaged in community services and non-profit organization developments over two decades at various levels. He is a true believer of education and one can always make a difference with the right attitude, commitment and focus. He is a software engineer by profession and lives in bay area with his wife Vanitha Belur and two kids – Akshata & Shreyas.

Chandar Pattabhiram is currently CMO of Coupa (COUP), responsible for all aspects of marketing including strategic marketing, growth marketing, brand and corporate marketing. Prior to joining Coupa, Pattabhiram was the CMO at Marketo where he was responsible for all aspects of marketing. Marketo was acquired by Adobe for approximately $5B.
Previously, Pattabhiram was head of worldwide marketing for Badgeville, and prior to that, Pattabhiram was vice president at IBM Cast Iron Systems where he was responsible for all product marketing and channel marketing efforts. In 2010, IBM acquired Cast Iron as a centerpiece of its Cloud strategy.
Pattabhiram also spent years at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a strategic advisor to Fortune 500 companies in the high-tech, retail, and oil and gas industries. He has authored and has been quoted in more than 1000 articles and is a frequent keynote speaker at leading software industry events. In 2019, he was named as one of the Top Influential Leaders in Marketing and, in 2017, he was named by LinkedIn as one of the top 5 CMOs in the world to follow for thought-leadership in the digital marketing domain.
He is a Strategic Advisor to Freshworks and Gainsight and is on the Board of Directors for BlueShift, an AI platform for consumer engagement.

Lauren Patel was a Vice President in the Legal & Compliance division of Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
Since retiring from the workforce in 2002 to bring up her two children, she has devoted a significant amount of her time to hands-on volunteer work and to the non-profit space. She recently stepped down from the board of Down the Block, a local grassroots non-profit that provides financial help to residents who've suffered temporary financial setbacks.
Lauren feels extremely blessed to have had the benefit of quality education and its concomitant rewards and is committed to helping others achieve the same.
Lauren lives in New Jersey and enjoys playing tennis, traveling and learning French.

Vanitha Venkatraman is an OSAAT Volunteer and drives corporate programs and fundraising initiatives, is an experienced computer professional with careers at Java/Oracle, Amazon/Lab126, Samsung/Graphics, ChargePoint/DC Fast Charging.

Mangala Kumar earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University and for over 25 years held Senior Management positions in Product Management, Marketing and Business Development while at Nortel, Siemens Communications and Aspect Communications. She is involved with several Bay are Non-profit community service organizations including OSAAT, and served as Executive Director of India Community Service Center (ICSC) and Senior Director of Programs at India Community Center. She feels very blessed to be able to use her time and energy to serve the community. Mangala lives in the Bay area with her husband and son.

Ramesh Javagal, a software engineer by profession, has been engaged in community service and supporting non-profit organizations for 15+ years in various capacities. He is passionate about providing quality education and resources to underserved students. Ramesh believes in the importance of teamwork, dedication and commitment in all his endeavors. He lives in San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Rathna and children Raksha and Kishan.

Naren is a software professional and works for Cisco. He hails from Bangalore and is active in non-profit organizations in the bay area. He likes to utilize his skills at marketing and fund raising activities for OSAAT. He lives in San Jose with his wife Prathibha and son Samarth. He likes volunteering and photography.
Joint Secretary
Suhas has been an OSAAT volunteer for over a decade. He has been a Bay Area resident since twenty years and lives with his wife and two children, all OSAAT volunteers, in Milipitas. He is an engineer by education, and works at Oracle, Pleasanton. He is also a philanthropist and strongly believes in giving back to the society through service and volunteering.

Poornima Ramaprasad is a computer hardware design engineer and has been living in the Bay area for the past 21 years. She believes that education is the first step towards betterment of society and that every child must be provided with the necessary infrastructure and opportunity to get that, which completely aligns with OSAAT’s goals. She has been associated with OSAAT events, particularly at the NaaTya Raaga event ever since its inception. She has been instrumental in organizing other fundraisers for the benefit of OSAAT.
