Updates on ODiSI®

OSAAT Digital School Infrastructure is a platform to enable the rural students with the digital infrastructure. At present, there are 9000+ students in 60+ schools that are being benefited by this.

In this quarter, content library integration and scaleup is in progress to help teachers with quality content to use in the class through ODiSI. In 2024-2025, OSAAT plans to roll it into many of the ODiSI schools. Even though many of our rural school students have challenges with reading skills, their adaptation of technology has been rapid.  Feedback from government officials who have reviewed the program in the districts of both Kolara and Mysuru indicates that the education community in general welcomes such technology interventions along with pedagogy development in use of technology. Participation rates are generally high at 90%+ and quite steady as well.   This can be seen through near real time data analytics captured.

In 2024, efforts are underway to expand ODiSI to more rural districts as well as collaboration through Karnataka’s social welfare department for residential schools under Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions society.
