Greetings from OSAAT & Happy Holiday wishes!!
We thank all our patrons for the support extended to us in 2022. The year 2022 will be marked as a memorable one in OSAAT’s history.
- 12 schools were completed
- 15 are in progress of construction
- 7 are funded and awaiting next steps
- 11 are approved and awaiting funding
- 16 are in review
Overall 83 projects so far taken up (68 school projects are completed & 15 are in progress!). The last quarter ended on a high note as well. OSAAT was featured in a lot of articles. A lot of events were conducted successfully in the last quarter, spreading our mission and vision to the community.
During the last quarter of 2022 alone, four schools were completed and handed over, bringing our successfully completed projects to date to 68. An additional seven school projects commenced as well and with this our overall school project count will be 83 ending 2022!! Our target is to complete 100 school by 2025.

ODiSI has been progressing really well. The teachers are able to provide assignments on a regular basis and track the progress of their students via the digital platform easily. Lathashree, a student of the Chikkakuntur school told us that the visual aids are helping her to understand the concepts better. The program has deployed 70 smart TV’s, 125 laptops, 656 digital tablets and 89 internet hotspots, benefiting more than 8000 students and 300 teachers this year.
Vaadya Vaahini 2022
Being one of OSAAT’s signature events, Vaadya Vaahini has proven to be a platform for many talented folks to present their versatility with their instruments. It is also a step taken by OSAAT to fund various projects. The competition was held under various categories and every segment was judged by eminent artistes. The grand finale was held on 16th October 2022 and trophies for the winners of Vaadya Vaahini 2022 were distributed at ICC Milpitas.
Vidyaadana- 2022
This year’s Vidyaadana was held on 13th November 2022 at Quinlan Community Center, Cupertino. The event featured prominent community leaders and business executives as keynote speakers and panelists. We are grateful that the occasion was graced by the attendees who have been supporters of OSAAT for many years. Highly skilled magician and mind-reader Joe Skilton enthralled the audience. Through the event, OSAAT raised 625k and five schools were adopted.

All donors who have adopted the schools were felicitated at the event. Sanjana and her friends performed the invocation prayer dance.
SAADHANE 2022
Is it enough to just have wings? Shouldn’t one be able to fly high into the blue sky and experience life for everything it has to offer? The opening prayer at OSAAT’s “Saadhane 2022” resonated very well with the audience – the grateful OSAAT family of volunteers, the generous donors, the like-minded partners, the highly energized teachers and kids from OSAAT schools, gathered on November 27th at the HN Kalakshetra auditorium in Bengaluru.
Chief guest U.B. Pravin Rao, former COO and board member of Infosys, Guest of honor Gayathri Kunjithaya, Global Head of HR, Cloud Software Group, expressed how gratifying it was to see the difference OSAAT is making on the lives of children in rural India. BV. Jagadeesh, chairman, OSAAT board of directors, welcomed the audience and expressed gratitude for everyone that has contributed to OSAAT’s work to date. Vijay Pullur, OSAAT board member, along with OSAAT’s volunteers Balkrishna Rao, key coordinator of physical infrastructure transformation, and Sudheer Hullemane, chief architect of ODiSI, shared a few stories of OSAAT’s journey.
Three exceptional teachers were felicitated by OSAAT, in recognition of their dedication and commitment. Umesh TP won the National Award for teachers 2022, Govt. Lower Primary School, Amrutapura School, Chitradurga District. Kamalakshi MG was honored as Best Teacher at the district level, Sarkari hiriya prathamika shaale, Surahonne, Davanagere district. Gurumurthi JM was recognized as Best Teacher at the district level, Sarkari hiriya prathamika shaale, Benkipura, Mysuru.Government Higher Primary School Mukanahalli (Hunsur taluk, Mysuru district, Karnataka) got a special recognition for the best maintained OSAAT school and Government High School Chikkakunthuru (Malur taluk, Kolara district, Karnataka) got special recognition for best implementation of the ODiSI program.
Vadiraja Bhatt and Ashok Kumar, trustees, OSAAT India, along with several other OSAAT volunteers took care of the program planning and execution ensuring the objectives of Saadhane were fully met. “OSAAT has come a long way, thanks to the generosity and thoughtfulness of so many people who have trusted us to carry out our mission. Our annual “Saadhane” event is our humble expression of gratitude” – said Vadiraja Bhatt. Ashok Kumar expressed happiness about the event’s success of another important objective. “It is extremely important for us to bring together the donors and the beneficiaries. When they interact with each other, they are bonded for life by mutual appreciation and recognition. It makes all our efforts worth it. We are grateful for bridging that human connection”.
Saadhane 2022 also included an exhibition of various artworks and demonstrations by students of many OSAAT schools. The guests enjoyed the event and many expressed their happiness about how the event met and exceeded their expectations.

Uttar Pradesh Government delegation Meet Up
We had an opportunity to meet & share our vision & mission with UP Govt delegation. Identifying well deserved schools for reform

Bureaucratic help in ease out operational challenges for OSAAT in UP.
As we all know, UP is now one of the fastest decision-making states, and they have signed an MoU as well as connected us over the phone with Sri Vijay Kiran Anand IAS, special secretary, Director general of school education(DGSE) for their support on the spot. We have signed the MoU to support mutually for both ODiSI and school projects!
